Q + A

What is the attire?

We kindly ask that guests dress in all-black formal wear. Gentlemen are welcome to wear a white dress shirt.

For those who wish to rent a dress, Fitzroy Rentals in Toronto has a discount code for 10% off for our guests to use the weekend of the wedding. When going in store or online use VINEYARDVOWS at checkout.

For a more formal guide on what to wear feel free to take a look at this Pinterest Board.

A note for those wishing to wear heels. Most of the venue is paved but the driveway is gravel and the ceremony seating is located on the grass.

Are children invited?

While we adore your children, we have chosen to limit our wedding celebration to adults only, unless specified on the formal invitation.

Can I bring a guest?

We are thrilled to celebrate our special day with our closest friends and family. If your invitation includes a +1, it will be specifically noted on your invitation.

What are the transportation options for getting to and from the wedding?

We're excited to celebrate with each of you and want to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable evening. For your convenience, Uber and local cab services are readily available in the area, allowing you to fully enjoy the festivities without worrying about the drive home.

For those who prefer to drive, overnight parking is available at the venue. However, please note that all vehicles must be picked up by 11am the next day to accommodate the venue's schedule.

If you prefer to drive and have a DD home, you can use the service We Drive to schedule a time for someone to come pick you up in your car and get you back to the hotel safely.

To ensure everyone can join in the celebration without any concerns, we strongly suggest considering the use of Uber or a cab service. Let's make the most of this joyous occasion together, safely and responsibly!

Where can we park?

If you decide to drive once you pull into the driveway, off Queenston Road, continue down and park on the gravel next to the building.

What time should guests arrive at the wedding, and what happens if someone is late?

We invite all our guests to arrive at 5pm and no later than 5:15pm to enjoy the vineyard and settle in before the ceremony begins promptly at 5:30pm.

Should you find yourself running late, please understand that in order to preserve the importance of the ceremony, late arrivals will be kindly asked to wait until the ceremony has concluded to join the celebration.

What is on the menu?

We're excited to share that our menu and food selections will be available shortly! Stay tuned for delicious options that we can't wait for you to try!

There will be options for all dietary restrictions and each person will be able to pick their own meal.

Bar details

We have an open bar and want people to enjoy the evening to the fullest. Key to note that full bar will be open after the ceremony until end of cocktail hour. Once dinner begins there will be wine service at the table and bar will reopen after dinner for dancing!

Are we going to be outside?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, weather permitting, so we can enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Following that, the reception with dancing will take place inside, providing a beautiful atmosphere for everyone to celebrate!

how do we rsvp?

More details coming soon but there will be an RSVP section added to the website once formal invitations go out.

When formal invitations are received we kindly ask that you RSVP by the deadline so we can finalize our plans and ensure a wonderful experience for everyone. Your timely response is greatly appreciated and will help us make the day special!

Is there a registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to contribute in another way, we have a registry here or would be delighted to receive a gift towards our honeymoon.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

We encourage everyone to capture their own memories during the wedding! However, we’ve also hired talented photographers (Monica and Kate) and videographer (Lucas) who will be there to beautifully document the day.

Before the ceremony starts, you’ll have a chance to take a few photos. After that, we kindly ask that cameras be set aside to allow everyone to fully enjoy the moment.

Once the ceremony concludes, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like—just remember to share your favourites with the bride and groom!
